Valentine Visits

March 4, 2012 · 3 Comments · Our Community, Our Learning

The students of Division 5 had a Valentine card making spree in the days leading up to Valentine‘s Day. These cards were for our friends, the residents of Glacier View Lodge and Cumberland Lodge. We met many interesting people at the lodges including teachers, nurses, farmers from the prairies, trades people, a valley furniture store proprietor and even an Olympic swimmer! The boys and girls loved visiting and chatting and hearing about the amazing lives of the residents. We appreciate so much that both Glacier View Lodge and Cumberland Lodge welcomed the students and our visit and hope that we can return some day soon! Thank you Liz and Coral!  Please watch the slide show, everyone!  How many envelope hearts, boys and girls? Some are hiding; some are not!

    Dear Our Forest Bloggers,
Our class thinks that it was so nice that you gave valitines to the old poeple. I know three people in your classroom and one is on my soccer team this year and our coach is coach Mike. Can you guess who it is?
We think it is funny that we have the same books in our class that you have our Shelfari.
