Campbell River – March 2/12

April 17, 2012 · 1 Comment · Our Community, Our Learning

A few weeks ago the students in Division 5 made a trip to Campbell River to visit the wonderful museum in this community.  The Grade 3s were collecting information for their Canadian Heritage Fair projects, all with a pioneer theme.  The boys and girls had an interesting tour with volunteer guides Marlene, Marlene and Pat.  They also were able to make old-fashioned spin toys and try on some pioneer clothing.  Following the museum tour, students went to a nearby playground to run off some steam and have lunch.  After lunch Div. 5 returned to Courtenay and had a great time bowling at Codes Country Lanes.  Thanks very much to the parent volunteers who transported us and joined in on our adventures!  View the photos of our day in Campbell River!

What a feel good slide show. It really captures the fun of the day, as does the choice of music. Thanks for organising a great field trip.
